Cirque Du Soleil
Students were able to see Cirque Du Soleil Luzia performed by Cirque Du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall, thanks to our partnership with Mousetrap Theatre Projects.
The production of Luzia was beautifully designed and vibrant with colour which related to the theme of ‘A Waking Dream of Mexico’. The revolving stage and giant treadmills on which many of the acts performed were fascinating along with the playful water episodes.
Laura said “Circus du Soleil was really wonderful to watch, I loved all of it. I especially loved the stunts and acrobatics that were involved for example: the two swings, a person flipping in the air to get to the other swing landing; the man who was balancing on sticks high up in the air; the pink flamingos who were jumping and diving through hoops. The juggling was really good too and the female singer’s voice was very good as it matched the scenes. I loved the whole show. It was a very fun and exciting experience”.
