Learning Support Assistant

St Angela’s Ursuline is an ‘outstanding’ and heavily oversubscribed Catholic girls’ school with a large mixed sixth form.
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (term time only) to work with students in the 11-19 age range. 
You will need:

  • the ability to impart basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • be able to work sensitively with children who have learning needs
  • Personal qualities are more important than previous experience as full training is available 

Salary: GLPC 3, point 5-6 (Starting from £16,815)
Closing Date: 29th November 2019
Interview Date: w/b 2nd December 2019

Senior Learning Support Assistant & Instructor

 

St Angela’s Ursuline is an ‘outstanding’ and heavily oversubscribed Catholic girls’ school with a large mixed sixth form.
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Learning Support Assistant and Instructor, to work within our Curriculum Support Department, under direction from our Special Educational Needs Coordinator.  You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering learning to students either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Managing and supporting the day to day allocation of Learning Support Assistants who provide curriculum support to students.
  • Perform SEN administrative duties.
  • Term time only

Salary: GLPC 6, point 18 - 20 (starting from £23,489 )
