This was a joyous occasion where Newham Catholic schools told the story of the nativity through readings and carols/songs.  The other schools involved were St Helen’s, St Antony’s, St Winefride’s, St Michael’s, St Francis, St Edward’s, St Joachim’s and St Bonaventure’s.

Each school brought a different flavour to the evening, including drama (complete with costumes), delicate part-singing and high-energy powerful performances.  There were a variety of musical styles on display as well, from St Antony’s lively rendition of ‘While Shepherds Watch’ to St Winefride’s more traditional ‘We Three Kings’. 

To top off a lovely evening, almost £300 was raised for Crisis at Christmas.
