A Journey To America Begins For Sixth Form Student

Congratulations to St Angela’s Sixth Form student Duvontae who has been selected to take part in this year’s Windsor Fellowship UK-US Youth Dialogue Programme (YDP).

Duvontae has been given the incredible opportunity to travel to the US for 20 days over the summer. During this time he will visit the most elite universities, where he will meet inspiring mentors, and attend events to help him understand the differences in the education and workplace systems of the US.

"I would have never imagined that I would be selected for such an amazing opportunity. I am very excited for both the trip and the chance to meet new people, on what I believe is going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity."

“We are once again delighted to have a candidate go through to this prestigious scheme – it will be a fantastic learning experience for Duvontae and we hope to one day see him studying or working in the USA!” Ms Angela DeLuca, Assistant Head Teacher, St Angela’s Ursuline School
