Numeracy Club

Coordinator: Miss Beirne

Numeracy club is run by Miss Beirne. Aimed at students that are performing below the national average in maths, its purpose is to boost basic mathematical skills. Since the beginning of this school year, the club is half classroom-based and half IT-based. One of the programs used a lot by the girls is Bounce Back Seven. Linked with this is a numeracy support programme for year 8 students who are underperforming. This takes place at lunchtimes and is run alternately by Miss Ryan and Mr Kyriacou.
