Visits

We use our local resources and visit places like the Design, Victoria & Albert and Tate museums to broaden the outlook of our pupils.

An essential part of their progression is for pupils to visit degree shows so they can see the relevance of their work and relate it to a career path.

Visitors coming into School add an extra dimension to the work we do and gives the work relevance. The CITB run workshops and companies use our pupils to test out ideas for projects.

We are keen to enter our pupils’ work for competitions as they gain confidence and can feel a sense of achievement in receiving a prize. The pupils also have a chance to judge their work against other schools and can see that they can produce work of quality.
