The school has funding to be able to supply a lot of the following equipment. Especially the following:

• Rucksacks (65 litres)
• Survival bag (bivvy bag)
• Trangia stove
• Tents
• Fuel bottle and methylated spirits.

You may already have, or prefer to purchase the following items:

• Sleeping bag (mummy bag)
• Walking boots
• Sleeping mat
• Waterproof jacket and trousers (Pac a Mac’s are not strong enough)
• Tracksuit bottoms
• Compass
• Personal first aid kit
• Torch / Batteries / bulb
• Walking/Thermal socks
• Gloves/hat/scarf
• Whistle
• Strong plastic bags to line the rucksack
• Watch
• Emergency food rations
• Water bottle
• Knife/fork/spoon/plate/bowl
• Small towel
• Sunscreen
