Introduction
Curriculum Support is an important and integral part of the life at St Angela's School. Everybody needs a helping hand from time to time and the staff of the Curriculum Support Centre are dedicated to ensuring that the right help is offered at the right time. We believe that every girl is entitled to the best possible education. Our aim for every girl is to help her to become a confident and independent student so that she can make the most of the opportunities that St Angela's has to offer.

Code of Practice
The Curriculum Support Team, for the most part, works with girls who are on the Code of Practice register. The Team co-ordinates the provision that is suitable for your daughter by working closely with her teachers through School Action and with outside agencies through School Action Plus. The needs of the girls on the Code of Practice register are many and varied but broadly we cater for students who experience difficulty in school due to:
- Learning issues
- Behavioural / Emotional issues
- Medical issues
- Physical issues
- Hearing impairment
- Visual impairment
- Speech and Communication issues

A Final Note
The staff of the Curriculum Support Centre know and understand that the needs of your daughter are very individual to her. We fully acknowledge that you, the parent or carer, will have a valuable understanding of your daughter's needs. For this reason, we welcome your involvement in your daughter's education and we will listen carefully to what you have to say.
