BuiltWithNOF

Accelerated Learning began in St Angela’s in 1998 out of a desire to stretch ourselves as teachers and learners from good to great.

Its application and development from small beginnings means that we now apply our knowledge of neuroscience to all learning, of both students and staff. Key people and change agents were identified and trained and work was disseminated to middle managers, all staff and students, but we needed to ensure that the cadre of staff who were both change agents, practitioners and sources of research was extended.

Objectives

  • Increase the capacity of St Angela’s staff in Accelerated Learning for work within school and with partner schools.
  • Facilitate partner schools to become Accelerated Learning Schools.
